“Isn’t It Time?
Parties are and always will be.
At 11:30 PM about a week ago I was out getting a bit of exercise before bed. There was a small gathering of about ten people at a house on the corner at the end of my block. I went around the block several times. Everyone was enjoying the company of each other on the front lawn lit only by their front porch light. Each time I rounded the block it seemed everyone was enjoying themselves more and more.
This past Saturday I heard laughter at about 3:00 in the afternoon from what seemed to be to be a gathering of my neighbors across the street with a bouncy house.
Party In The Mountains
This past Sunday to celebrate Sheila’s Birthday we took a drive up the 18 freeway to Twin Peaks and Lake Gregory where there were families enjoying the lake.
This celebration had everything: there were ducks…
There were Labrador puppies…
There was a rescue kitten…
Getting Back to Every Weekend
We live in West Altadena by the Arroyo Secco of the Angeles National Forest. During the week I can easily park in front of my house however on the weekends my neighborhood becomes a bit of a destination for hikers and cyclists and it is sometimes hard to find parking.
Back in March the Angeles National Forest was closed and I had plenty of parking.
Recently my neighborhood has become a destination again making it hard to park… and I welcome this :-)
Things are getting back to normal and people enjoying the company of each other.
So glad to see this.
Sincerely, Eric Zimmermann
