Dancers Want To Dance!
At a wedding reception dancers wanting to dance say “turn it up!” while seated guests wanting to talk say “turn it down!”
These are dancers enjoying each other, which is how it should be.
What can be done about a “loud DJ” at a party or wedding reception?
We have all been to a wedding or special event where the DJ was too loud. I don’t think that DJs are insensitive to their audience. But their “audience” are the dancers. Now it may have been that someone planning the event didn’t think it through to seat those sensitive to high volumes of music away from where the DJ might be setting up. But be that as it may, in this situation the DJ will play dance music at a volume “correct for dancing” but probably at the expense of some seated guests who want to talk. The problem lies with the 2 speaker setup most DJs use. Looking at the diagram you can see “hot spots” where the music will be too loud for guests seated near the dance floor who want to talk.
This situation is easily avoided.
Dance Floor Surround Sound
This is Elegant Music DJ Dance Floor Surround Sound; a 4 speaker setup; one speaker on each corner of the dance floor facing directly at dancers away from seated guests. So dancers can dance and seated guests can talk.
Dance Floor Surround Sound is very effective for outdoor locations. Again, sound is focused on the dance floor and not traveling all over the neighborhood.
