…will come out to a party if the Jazz is hot!
We play parties and events in some of the most beautiful locations throughout Southern California. This was a wedding shower (party) for a couple getting married in a month. It was a great crowd and we had a lot of fun playing a variety of traditional and contemporary music all in a “Gatsby” jazz style.
I couldn’t tell if anyone was “Packing any Heat” so I didn’t dare “Shoot” any video that night but here are some other videos:

The Redwood that fell
With every gig there is a story. San Marino is a beautiful community with some amazing homes. The movie “Father of The Bride” with with Actor Steve Martin was shot in this neighborhood. Now in any well established neighborhood with beautiful homes there are trees that are even more “established” that tower over head; especially a Redwood.
One night there was a wind storm and one of the Redwoods (hundreds of years old) fell. Tall as it was not only did it fall across the pool but the entire back yard downing the wooden fence demarcating the property boundary and crushing the neighbor’s car! (This tree probably weighed well over a ton.)
Thanks to an insurance policy covering “your redwood tree falling on your neighbor’s car” no one was hurt and fallen tree was put to a romantic use.
