Early one morning this week it was cold outside and it rained; an all too rare yet welcome occurrence in Southern California. And that’s all it took for me (visited by the holiday spirit) to get childhood images of how special a “snow day” was and how much fun it would be to get snowed in. To warm up the house I baked chicken with herbs, vegetables, baby yams and cranberries. In about an hour our home was warm with the sweet aroma of a holiday dinner. Outside it continued to rain; not really “snowed in”, but it was fun to pretend.

The Soundtrack for Holiday Gatherings
These holiday images (ghosts) of “Christmas Past, Present and Future” are not without a soundtrack.
Music dynamically influences the design and presentation of such events. If there was ever a recipe for a successful event, the ingredients would include decoration, copious amounts of food, and music. Add guests, and mix gently!
Holiday Tenant Breakfast and Beyond
That morning I spoke with a new client about their ideas to decorate their building’s foyer and have live music during their Holiday Tenant Breakfast.
Additionally, their building is in Pasadena along the Rose Parade route and plans are afoot to provide music on New Year’s Day by Elegant Music!
Now that’s the way to end a year…
…and start off a new one.
I look forward to hearing your holiday entertaining ideas :-)
Sincerely, Eric Zimmermann
