My wife Sheila and Daughter Sara were shopping and saw a number of people trying unsuccessfully to catch a feral kitten. This kitten, a real surviver, had successfully eluded humans all of its short life. Just when everyone gave up looking for where the kitten went Sheila and Sara heard a “mew” from a crack in a wall. With the help of Animal Protective Services they got the kitten out of the wall and agreeing to foster her brought the kitten home.
Luna
At first she was rather savage. All of us including our two male cats Neo and Malcolm were quite afraid of this spitting ball of hell. Eventually the kitten became accustomed to her surroundings and was nicer to her benevolent new family. It took a while but eventually Luna was accepted by Neo and Malcom and is now regarded by them as their own.
Recently my daughter came across a humorous video called “Dear Kitten” that in many ways describes Luna becoming a member of our family.

There is much I can say about the effect Luna has had on all of us. On her instagram account (miss_luna_baby) she is quite a celebrity.
