Due to circumstances…
Unable to have the wedding they had planned, at their chosen location, on their chosen date, Alex and Jess in the presence of their immediate family chose to get married in the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee over the weekend; on their chosen wedding date!
Their Big Party will be in August.
A wedding is a joining of two families.
As it was described to me, the intimate mountain setting allowed for the families to spend quality time together; everyone enjoyed themselves and were quite moved by the experience.
I love it when good people get married!

PS: “Six Feet Away”
Healthy, yet under “stay at home orders,” I wrote a song: “Six Feet Away”. This is a song for married couples, newly married couples and nearly married couples.
I sent it to Alex while he was in the throws of preparing for the wedding day. He immediately recorded his interpretation.
Alex is a Composer/Songwriter/Vocalist. Maybe I am a bit bias because Alex Zimmermann is my nephew, but this guy is talented! So much so, that I forgive him for changing the words to the song and writing an arrangement better than mine :-)
