I like it when a wedding goes well.

As my readers have guessed I also enjoy writing.

I am really quite proud of my web site as it gives me a way to display and organize articles I have written about subjects relating to having a successful wedding.

There is a lot to know but it’s fun finding out. “Shopping” is a learning experience. The better you understand about the service or item you are buying the easier it is to make a decision about it.

The informed bride knows what she wants, makes correct decisions, is a joy to work with and always has a great wedding. There is an old saying that “knowledge is power”. I would add to that “power of choice” and certainty in one’s decisions.

With all the detail that goes into a wedding of course it should be organized and well planned… but once everything is in place, what has to happen to make it run successfully?  A master of ceremonies working with the wedding coordinator can do his job and just be the master of ceremonies.

At a wedding the Master of Ceremonies is the representative of the groom and bride and their families for that matter.) How will he conduct himself? A major concern is “will the DJ/MC talk too much?”

Are you getting the help you need?

Many parts come together on the day of your wedding. (These parts can be floating around as ideas known only to you.) It is best to get your ideas down on paper in proper sequence and into the hands of an event professional in charge of your event. I find when a bride sees her wedding reception itinerary written out with scripted announcements (as it will happen) she experiences relief. She knows that she has been
understood; that her wedding reception itinerary and announcements are complete. Of course the script would need to be approved by your wedding coordinator. With this step done copies are given to the caterer, photographer, videographer, etc. and everything goes smoothly. Now the bride or host can put their attention on other things and enjoy their special event.
