Royal Wedding @ Los Angeles Athletic Club
Sometimes we meet people who seem to have something special about them. We can’t quite put our finger on it but they have a certain grace, a relaxed poise, a sparkle, and that’s the way they are without trying. One feels happier when around them.
When I met Regina she was a nice person, interested in her wedding; we hit it off right away, but her presence was unmistakable. Indeed I observe every bridal couple that I work with “come alive” on their wedding day. At my wedding, at the moment I walked down the aisle… to me that was “really real”… I felt “really alive”. Certainly a life changing moment for Sheila and I.
Regina and Ted came over to work out music and what struck me was that they brought out the best in each other. I could see that they were well on their way toward achieving that special moment I had experienced when Sheila and I got married. Their photographer Jeff Roy of Visioneermedia was also inspired by this couple. He had a field day photographing them. I observed him taking great care to “get the shot” and having fun doing it; as a true artist would.

Creative Wedding Ceremony Music Choices
In addition to having 3 officiants sharing ceremonial responsibilities Regina was also creative in her music choices. I wrote two new quartet arrangements: “Somewhere Over The Rainbow/Simple Gifts” (ala The Piano Guys) that we played for their bridal party processional and “Edelweiss” that we played during their wedding ceremony. This wedding was beautifully designed and coordinated by Holly Brown (now Holly Sherman) of Wish Wonder Dream (Congratulations Holly!)

It was evident that everyone at their wedding was very happy for them; their sons and daughters gave meaningful toasts; everyone had a great time. I found out only much later that she is royalty; a former Miss Tennessee!

Congratulations Regina and Ted! It was inspiring to be part of your celebration.
Sincerely, Eric Zimmermann
