It is a lot of fun for me to cross over styles of music and play a familiar melody in a jazz style.  “Cross Over” means to take a melody that is associated with one style of music and playing it in another style; familiar songs played in a special way that challenges the listener. My classical quartet plays arrangements of popular swing, top 40 and classic rock music. Well, in the same way, here is a video of my Jazz Trio (Keyboard, String Bass and Drums) playing the classical favorite Beethoven’s Fur Elise.
