I talk to lots of people about music for their special events. I have found that ideas easily fit into a logical sequence after establishing the general wedding itinerary.
Once you have your location and date you kind of already know when your event will start and when it will end. Each part of your celebration can have its own music. Usually a wedding ceremony and cocktail hour can be done in a 2 hour block of time and a wedding reception (dinner and dancing) is usually done in a 4 hour block of time. Depending on your location, a standard wedding will run 6 hours or more.
