All I Do Is Win
“You win some and you lose some” and of course one always tries to win more than lose.
There can be many reasons to celebrate; a job well done for example. A law firm winning a successful judgement on a major case is quite an accomplishment and so a law firm winning three successful judgments on major cases in a row is cause for celebration! Now there is a timing to acknowledging a job well done; certainly it should occur right after the accomplishment. Well, on Thursday of that busy week office manager Vivian Powers got the word that there was to be a party on the following Monday night and in literally “no time at all” she pulled off an amazing party on the roof top of the Jonathan Club for her firm Yukevich | Cavanaugh.
Decorating with Fire
The roof top of the Jonathan Club is an elegant space for entertaining complete with couches and decorative out door fire heaters in a canyon of downtown Los Angeles high-rise buildings.
Dance Floor Surround Sound
To focus music in the area designated for dancing I provided my four speaker DJ Dance Floor Surround Sound; and dance they did!
A Fun Place to Work
I don’t now watch a lot of TV but in addition to “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and spinoff “Angel” my wife Sheila and I were fans of the “Ally McBeal Show” when it was on. The camaraderie and quirkiness of this comedy show made it look like a fun place to work. Well the celebrants at Yukevich having won three big cases had plenty to celebrate. There definitely is a camaraderie and sense of family there. Though I am sure they work hard for their continued success it seems to me like they have a lot of fun doing it.
