“Be Our Guest” from Beauty And The Beast
In this well known scene the service staff of the enchanted castle are thrilled to find that they have a guest and so present dinner to that single guest in a very artistic fashion. Indeed, performers love to perform whenever the opportunity presents itself.
The anticipation of a wedding ceremony is heightened by prelude music as guests arrive. Something’s coming… Something important is about to happen. Planning ceremony music is an opportunity to be creative and contribute to the beauty and pageantry of the moment.
The music chosen can be grand and stately or romantic and beautiful. Or for comic relief something completely irreverent could be performed.
You can choose prerecorded music for your wedding ceremony and as a DJ I would be happy to help you. It may be that the original recording holds special meaning. But also please know that Elegant Music specializes in Live Music and DJ packages for weddings and parties so all or part of your celebration can include “Live Music”. You are invited to our office where we can play for you “Live ” and offer suggestions for your wedding ceremony processionals and recessional. For your convenience this step can be done over the phone.

Suggestion: When walking down the aisle take your time; let it breathe; own the moment.

Grand Entrance Music with Ballet Dancers
In Beauty and the Beast it is “Be Our Guest”. In Polar Express it’s “Hot Chocolate”. It is all about presentation.
After seeing my daughter Sara dance across the living room floor Jacob of Jacob Galleries came up with the idea of having ballet dancers precede a Bride and Groom during their grand entrance. The result was a stunning entrance of the Bride and Groom to their wedding reception and a beautiful segue to their first dance.
The same concept of including music, dancers and choreography could be applied to a wedding ceremony processional or recessional or to any part of a celebration.
More Ideas…
At Le Mervetty the French pastry shop on Canon Drive in Beverly Hills we kicked around the idea of a ballet performance as part of the serving of dessert. Indeed any presentation can be made special by adding art and performance. Stop by Le Mervetty and treat yourself to edible works of art.
Ideas Are Free…
It is not necessarily how much you spend on a wedding or party that makes it a great event; it’s what happens!
Ideas are free; you get them all the time. I look forward to hearing your ideas about your upcoming special occasion.
