Beautiful Wedding @ Pickwick Gardens; Elegant Music
This was a beautiful wedding at Pickwick Gardens just off Riverside Drive in Burbank. Melodi and Grant were very creative in choosing music for their wedding and decided on using the Bach for the procession their bridal party:
Groomsmen
Mothers
4 Bridesmaids
Sister of the bride
Flower Girl Music: Cello Suite, #1 Prelude J.S.Bach_
Wedding Ceremony Music Solo Cello
Wedding processionals can be somewhat short not allowing for a full performance of the music chosen. It is a long walk from the “brides room” to the ceremony site at Pickwick Gardens and so the soloist was able to play this piece nearly twice. This is the popular “Prelude” movement of the famous first cello suite by Johann Sebastian Bach. Here is the list of all the movements: Prelude, Allemande, Courante, Sarabande, Menuets, Gigue.
Cello and Guitar
The cellist performing on this video is a long time alumni of Elegant Music Wendy Velasco. Wendy also performed with Guitarist Bill Luke on the remaining parts of the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour.
I was so moved by this creative couple that I wrote 5 compositions for Cello and Guitar as part of their wedding ceremony music. Here’s one:
“Welcome by the Mother of the Bride” for Cello and Guitar by Eric Zimmermann
Congratulations Melodi and Grant on a beautiful wedding!
Sincerely, Eric Zimmermann DJ and Master of Ceremonies, Pianist and Band Leader
