Jazz Quartet Cover – In A Gotta Da Vida

By adding and subtracting instruments the Elegant Music Jazz Trio evolves into many forms.

Choosing your favorite instruments to augment the occasion is part of the fun: Piano, String Bass and Drums, Trumpet, Guitar, Swing Violin, Sax.

It’s easy to “do the math”; each unique instrument exponentially expands the possibilities of the ensemble.

The equation is: E=ElegantMusic²

 

Now factor interesting jazz arrangements of familiar tunes establishing etherial planes of interaction.

Improvisation.

Creation.

 

The engaging repertoire of this ensemble challenges the listener to participate in the performance inspiring further interchange between musicians and audience.

Caught up in the moment. Spontaneity and telepathy acknowledged. Those in attendance on many levels know and interact and enjoy participation; a collective experience the whole greater than the sum of its parts.

Hello, my name is Eric Zimmermann. I am a DJ/Master of Ceremonies, Pianist, Bandleader and Host of Wedding & Event Podcast.

Elegant Music was established in 1990 by my wife Sheila and I performing for weddings and parties. Today, Elegant Music offers a wide variety of duos, trios, quartets and talented soloists.

Harp

Harp is portable and can perform anywhere but like any fine instrument Harp should be shaded from direct sun.

Harp can perform with or without amplification.

Similar to the Piano, just about any style of music can be performed on the Harp.

Harp can be combined with other instruments to create beautiful ensembles.

It is amazing the infinite variety of music possible with solo piano. As a pianist the keyboard is like an orchestra at my fingertips; I can play just about play anything.

 

Any melody, any song, any Christmas Carol, even “Happy Birthday” can be found somewhere on the piano keyboard.

 

 

The piano can play and sustain many notes at one time. So melody and harmony and rhythm are played by this single instrument.

 

With piano it is possible for a single performer to entertain hundreds of people.

 

Beauty And The Beast (Jazz Waltz) Solo Piano

 

Out doors or in locations where an acoustic piano is not available. It is easy to bring a keyboard and small amplification.

 

Talking about music with another starts an adventure of discovery.

 

Adding your favorite instruments to piano expands the variety of music possible exponentially.

Dinner Dance Party

Wine, Food, Music, Dancing

On Saturday February 9, 2019 the Elegant Music Jazz Trio performed for a dinner dance at the Jonathan Club 6:30 – 10:30.

Men and women dressed in formal evening attire met and enjoyed cocktails, amazing food and as the evening progressed one thing lead to another and these couples, danced!

Guided by perfect manners and a common purpose to have a good time everyone seemed to know what to do; men conducted themselves as gentlemen and women conducted themselves as ladies; everyone enjoyed the company of each other.

This was an elegant evening together with friends. The Elegant Music Jazz Trio has a large repertoire. In addition to Rock and Roll and Jazz Standards from the Great American Songbook, Latin Ballroom Dance Music was also requested.
