Music was an important part of this wedding ceremony. I had a lot of fun working with the mother of the bride planning music. She and her daughter made very creative music choices allowing me the opportunity to write new arrangements for the Elegant Music Quintet.
The Elegant Music Quintet organically evolved from Flute and Piano (Duo) to include Violin and Cello which created the Elegant Music Quartet.
Then, Harp was added to the ensemble which created a quintet (a five instrument ensemble). The combinations of these instruments produce an expansive variety of music textures and sound.
From receiving requests the Elegant Music Quintet performs an ever growing repertoire of popular and contemporary music covers, motion picture themes and traditional classical music.

I started thinking about Easter and what music might be included in the “sound track” for this celebration. Optimism, renewal, a new beginning and just plain fun.
Here is a short program of Solo Piano recordings featuring excerpts of songs:
“I Can See Clearly Now” Johnny Nash
“Beach Spring” Benjamin Franklin White (1844)
“Here Comes The Sun” George Harrison

More and more people are venturing out, getting together and enjoying the company of each other.
Garden Parties, High Tea, House Parties, Backyard Barbecue. Formal or casual, the essential is bringing people together.
Make your next party a Wine Dinner or a Dinner Dance with Wine. This event can be done indoors or outdoors in your backyard.
How is a Wine Dinner conducted?

Should I have a Pianist? Live Band? Or, DJ? (or all three :-)

I have been enjoying the rain and have watched Mother Nature do what Mother Nature naturally does; she has been very busy.
Everyday “The Great Outdoors” is getting greater. Mother Nature invites, “Come out and play.”
Creating occasions that bring people together is natural. I look forward talking with you and hearing your ideas for entertaining your guests.
Sincerely, Eric Zimmermann
